Connect Logistics was born in 2008 in the Sundar Industrial Estate in Lahore, when the founding team constructed a 2,240 pallet position cold store specifically to serve Wall’s Ice Cream – Unilever’s flagship frozen food brand in Pakistan. It was a single, purpose-built facility for a single client. But it was built right: self-owned land, European-standard refrigeration, and an operations culture focused on precision and reliability. By 2009, the Glaciers facility had already expanded, and word was spreading. The quality of Connect’s cold chain operations was demonstrably different from what else existed in Pakistan’s logistics market at the time. In 2010, the team acquired the operating contract for Wall’s factory storage, a major vote of confidence. Between 2010 and 2012, they began building Connect’s ambient warehousing presence in Karachi, laying the groundwork for what would become a national multi-temperature network.
